Quality Guarantee

Pacific Microelectronics performs strict multi-stage control of PCB assembly quality, which virtually prevents manufacturing defects. Electronics manufacturers from USA and Japan are among our largest customers, therefore, strict quality control requirements are imposed on us, otherwise we would not be able to successfully compete for foreign orders. Not a single defective PCB to a customer is our principle!
Our company is ISO-9001 certified, all products are subject to UL International Electrical Safety Standard certification, and we declare compliance with the Japan Industrial Standard.
All incoming components are subject to testing at the acceptance stage. Unlike some of our Russian competitors which are overwhelmed with orders and buy components where they are available, we thoroughly select manufacturers of electronic components. We do not use counterfeit components, components of unknown origin and expired and rejected components. Pacific Microelectronics Inc. procures electronic components only from well-known and reliable manufactures which whom we have a long history of business relationships.
Being used at our soldering paste and adhesive application line are the screen printing machines with optical inspection of quality of applied layer. Subject to control is not just accuracy of (paste/adhesive) application on pads but also uniformity of the applied layer.
At the SMD component mounting stage our modern machines are capable of distinguishing the supplied components by the type of a package, presence of bent and broken supports, case marking which prevents mounting of defective or improper components. The laser recognition system allows for correcting position of a component on a suction device of the SMD machine which prevents incorrect positioning of a component on a pad or wrong polarity.
After SMD components are mounted, a printed circuit board is transported to the optical inspection machine which checks that positions and types of the mounted components conform to the specifications.
An assembled PCB that comes out from the convectional melting furnace is transported to the e-testing machine where the contact needle adapter is used for testing PCB for short circuits or conductor break, dry joint, wrong rating of mounted components as well as for functional testing (subject to availability of a customer’s testing program). We can test all components including connectors and displays.
After passing all quality control stages the assembled PC boards are transported to the packing area where the best packing and antistatic materials are used to ensure reliable protection against environmental exposure. Our PCBs can be delivered by any types of transport vehicles at any distances in the most extreme conditions. Even if an external box is damaged, its contents will not become wet and broken.
