PCB Quality Assurance

Quality control is one of the main objectives of Pacific Microelectronics under each order, whether it is manufacturing of printed circuit boards, contract assembling or integrated production of finished products. Strict multi-stage control prevents manufacturing defects. Pacific Microelectronics is ISO-9000:2000, ISO-9001:2001, ISO-14000, UL, DEMKO, JIS and CE certified. In 2006, the company was certified by the Quality System Certification Agency with the Weapons and Military Equipment Testing and Certification Institute for compliance with the conditions required for developing and preparing production and supplying and repairing weapons and military equipment ordered by the defense ministry.

All our production facilities have the multilevel system ensuring control of quality of manufactured products. Modern equipment prevents manufacturing defects at the production state and not just in the process of the follow-up inspection and testing. The company has the multi-level product quality control system that provides for 100% optical inspection and e-testing of the manufactured products.

At each PCB manufacturing stage we perform control of quality. Before coming off the assembly line each printed circuit board is subject to e-testing to detect possible short circuits and broken tracks. All PCBs are tested with the application of special equipment. Nonrecurring batches are subjected to flying probe e-test, while recurring batches are subjected to adapter e-test. Multilayer PCBs may be subjected to X-ray testing.

In case of  PCB panel by scribing, being controlled are scribing depth, width and angle for compliance with the established parameters. If a PCB is depaneled by milling, possible deviation of a mill diameter from the established one is constantly measured.

We guarantee you high quality of products and bear material liability for it. Should a defective product be detected, we either pay you full compensation or manufacture a new batch of printed circuit boards free of charge, at your discretion!
